The hot honey starter kit

A few practical essentials for infusions, glazes, and your next favorite drizzle.

The hot honey starter kit

Start small, heat gently

A small heavy-bottomed saucepan gives you control when warming honey. Keep the heat low and never let it boil. A spoon or heat-safe spatula makes it easy to stir and watch the texture.

Choose your finish

Leave dried chili flakes in for a rustic drizzle, or use a fine-mesh strainer for a smoother finish. Taste with a clean spoon after steeping and strain sooner for less heat.

Keep everything clean and dry

Use a clean, completely dry food-storage jar. Our signature infusion uses dried chili only; do not add fresh peppers or fresh garlic. Label the jar with the date and the ingredients.
